Calpine Corporation is a Fortune 500 power company that employs many engineers to work on their commercial/trading side. Colby Rodriguez was a chemical engineer who obtained his MBA and is now a power trader at Calpine. He will discuss his career transition and how academic theory can be applied in a professional environment. In addition, he will go over Calpine’s businesses, the power sector and why “power trading is the best!”
